Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Is It Worth The Hype?

Image
The movie I'm writing about today is Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle. This is the most recent anime movie released in the United States which aired on September 12th 2025. This movie stands out to me because demon slayer was one of the first anime to change their shows from seasonal releases to movie releases in theaters. It surprisingly was a massive hit in the US even though there is a lot of stigma from people about anime. In the news there hasn't been much talk besides promotions but on social media there have been plenty of stories about people who couldn't control their excitement in theaters and freaked out. During all of September I couldn't scroll on tiktok without seeing a post about this movie.  Demon Slayer: infinity castle is part 1 of a 3 part series for the finale of this franchise. With a run time of 155 minutes which is insane for an animated movie, having a longer or equal run time then most live action movies. “In this film, Tanjiro Kamado and his all...

The Importance Behind Thrasher #544

Image
In 2023, the biggest, baddest, and most influential stair set in all of skateboarding, El Toro, was tre flipped by Chris Joslin, arguably. He “landed” the trick after a long, hard battle, but unfortunately, one of his trucks broke, making it unable to ride away from the trick. This sparked a massive argument for two years over whether the trick counted or not. This argument is now irrelevant due to Thrasher Magazine's latest publication.  On the cover of Thrasher Magazine #544, it shows Chris Joslin attempting to tre flip El Toro one more time to silence the skateboarding community. The cover pictures him catching the tre flip and about to land the trick on this massive 25 stair set, with the Thrasher logo at the top of the page.  Shredzshop.com  released a small article on this cover promoting nothing but appraisal. This is the same case heard from every other article. The only issue that the community is promoting is that the footage of this trick hasn't been rel...

About Ryder

Image
My name is Ryder Santos, Im from Portland Oregon and I am a digital arts and communications major. I hope to turn that major into a full time career with photography and maybe some journalism. I decided to Dual enroll into LBCC because it saves me a lot of money at OSU. I also chose LBCC because I perform better in smaller class sizes and not  big lecture halls.  During this class I hope to learn about how to use my photography in a more media sense. weather that is photojournalism, or how to promote my work through media. I am also instructed in journalism and this class is the perfect place for me to understand if this is what I want to do.  Outside of school I am super passionate about my photography. It is my goal in life to turn that into my full time job. My whole entire life I have never found a hobby or interest that I was set on pursuing, as a kid I always wanted to be a pro skater or pro snowboarder but after many many painful injuries I decided maybe I sho...
